Whether you're a recent college graduate trying to find a task, a seasoned worker wanting a career modification, a justice involved individual returning into the workforce, a veteran going back to civilian life, a senior 55 or older wishing to upgrade work skills, a migrant farm worker, a youth ─ your American Job Centers use services for a wide variety of situations to help fulfill your work requires. We provide open door to the resource spaces that include computers and Internet, telephones, and fax makers. Also, job candidates can participate in on-site recruiting events, workshops on resumé writing, talking to abilities, and task search activities, or pursue more extensive training or certifications for occupations that remain in need. American Job Centers provide you the right tools you need to be successful!

All 95 Tennessee counties are served by an American Job Center with competent staff and open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our Job Centers are grouped by areas called LWDAs (Local Workforce Development Areas).

Tennessee has a network of centers throughout the state, all at once servicing both companies and task candidates alike. Companies find ideal employees while prospects receive vital profession info and services.

Each American Job Center offers digital labor market information, complimentary Internet access, workshops, job placement, recruitment, training, and assistance with Jobs4TN.gov to find talent or search jobs. Come by your local center to get going today!

Local Workforce Development Areas (LWDAs)

LWDAs are location clusters of counties whose labor market and other employment-related elements are similar. This implies each location supplies workforce advancement and career services based on regional needs. LWDAs are affiliate, or partners who assist run and administer programs and services as directed from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) at all of the local job centers throughout the state.
